I think you should realise that these treasures were looted by CKS
when he fled to Taiwan. Since you show obvious pride in these
treasures it also implies you believe that Taiwan is a legitimate
custodian of them. The only legitimacy Taiwan can claim to be the
legal custodian is as an integral part of China. This unresolved
matter is why many of the treasures looted from China and now in
Taiwan are still hidden from public sight.
In the discussions between museum officials from Beijing and from
Taiwan there were many issues raised the details of most of which I
cannot remember. But this claim has great merit. By being in Taiwan
these precious treasures were spared destruction by Red Guards during
the Cultural Revolution.
