I bought a clock for 4.99. a bike for 59.77. these will not kill you.

Fortunately in my case the problem of food contamination doesn't
arise. I avoid all canned or processed foods. The salt and the
additives doesn't make me ill but I don't feel good after eating them.
I have to avoid anyting rich in soy, glutens, peas and beans and quite
a few other delicacies associated with Chinese snack foods. I can't
eat dim sum (gluten, soy) and don't go that often to the Chinese
restaurants although I do like Chinese restaurant food. At home I
cook only rice, noodles with fresh lean meat, some veggies and minimal
salt, no sauces or cooking oils. But I do really like my simple fare
so my diet works out very well for me.

As for shopping, at my age I am trying to get rid of things not
accumulate more. I don't even own a car any more but get around on a
bicycle walk or by bus. Love it. When I go to that great big
modelling shop in the sky (my hobby is making scale models) I will
leave only a very small footprint that I was ever here. No one will
miss me.
