American troops occupying part of Beijing in the early 1900s, the

the hot air wafted it does look like the US wants a war so that they
get to sign a peace treaty afterwards.

America wants China down in the gutter, but currently China has enough
to hurt America bad. It's a stale-mate. This will not continue for
long. China is coming up fast. This is the reason Washington kept
saying the Chinese military is not transparent, and wants China to
reveal its military capabilities.
