Not true. Plastic costs money, especially in quantities to make a
palm tree. There are lots of local materials that can be used.
Secondly, except on Hainan Island and parts of southern-ost China palm
trees will look very out of place. T reward underlings the usual
procedure is to throw a big feast for them. Everyone is happy.
