More than 50,000 students from China, half postgraduates, are helping
to fuel the huge expansion in international students in British
universities. They make up nearly a quarter of the 218,000 students
from outside the EU, a figure that has nearly doubled in 10 years.
Among EU countries, Greece supplies most postgraduates, around 12,000,
while similar numbers are arriving from India.
A Universities UK report also shows just how unpopular engineering has
become among British students with numbers barely changed in 10 years
despite the expansion in higher education.

ppp: Engineering. Why is this declining in UK and the US?
