Re: The unstoppable Cross-Strait traffic

.... It will come to a point where the truth become reality, that when
PRC wants it, PRC gets it.

Want to bet?

I don't gamble, thank you.

I bet US$1,000 against US$ 100 that Taiwan will be separate from
the PRC in 2010.

As long as Taiwan will not declare independence, time is on PRC's side.
If you look at the current situation today, we are in a very untenable
position. The 7th fleet is not a deterrent, it is a setting duck. If
there is going to be war between PRC and Taiwan, I would get the 7th
fleet out of Taiwan Strait because the 7th fleet will be the first
target. Taiwan would be next. China is huge. It will only get huger.
We are having trouble handling Iraq now. There is no way we can
handle China now, let alone China in 20-30 years.

Do you want any of that action?

No, I'm not a betting or gambling man. I only sit in front of my
computer and philosophize.
