Daniel Morgan

Today is the anniversary of the Battle of Cowpens ( 17th Jan 1781 ).
In this engagement General Daniel Morgan overcame a British force
under Banastre Tarleton and put the English forces "on the road to
Yorktown" and ultimate defeat. Daniel Morgan was of Welsh descent
( possibly born in Llandaff, Cardiff ). For more details of his life
