have there been attempts to create a common celtic language which is
easy to learn
and directly understandable for speakers of scottish gaelic, irish and
welsh and
which is based on the concepts of basic english so that even non-
native speakers
of celtic languages can easily acquire it ?
(a) No.
(b) The assumption that all non-native speakers of Celtic languages
understand English is interesting.
(c) Why would anyone want to create a P/Q hybrid based on "concepts of
basic English"?
(d) OTOH you could always try your hand at Gaelglish.
See http://homepage.eircom.net/~abardubh/gaelglish/
i would like to create something, but i have little or no experience
and i think ,
it would be better if it would be created by speakers of those
languages themselves.
Why?
Quite! I agree with you. What would be the sense of creating such a thing?
If speakers of for instance, Welsh and Scottish Gaelic, want to cumminucate
with each other then they would just about always use English to do so. Why
make up some kind of hybrid Welsh/Gaelic/English language? One of the
daftest ideas I've heard :-)
