And taser abuse continues.



This morning has news of another taser abuse incident in Canada despite
the previous experience of deaths and a promise that these would only
be used in extreme cases, (as if we ever believed that), here we have a
case where the suspect had already been wrestled to the ground and six
police officers were on top of him. Why would they taser someone who
had already been captured? It's only to torture someone they didn't
like. That's not police work.

Asked if the use of the Taser gun was necessary provided that up to
six officers were on top of the man, Watters said the officer who
released the jolt followed proper guidelines.

This is in British Columbia again. Was this man Polish also? I don't
know but the police out there seem strangely violent.
