An Apocryphal story from God

God spoke to the leader of the Palestinians and said thus:
I will give you a land of milk and honey if you wish. Your people will
prosper beyond their wildest dreams if you wish. Yours will live in peace
forever with your neighbors and never feel threatened or want. There is one
condition- God said: Whatever comes to you and yours I will give twice as
much to the people of Israel. The leader pondered. He thought of peace,
prosperity,happiness- in perpetuity with great joy. Then he thought that the
Isrealis will have more, much more-and he grew angry. Finally he gave his
answer to God. What I want for me an my people is to cut off one of my arms!
