Re: Bush was smart to stay out of 'nam.

You right-wing wingnut. And, as an insult, that doesn't compare with the
subtle slander the Republican party machine employs with their dirty tricks
moles for the last twenty years, more recently refined. Over the years, I've
preferred the philosophy of the left-of-the-mainstream: question authority,
tolerance, thoughts before action, peoplle being more important than the
almighty dollar. Maybe I shouldn't have said that; typically, you will then
quote (if I was important enough) me, leaving out the last word, to create a
anti-God spin. Just the most obvious not specious form of propaganda used by
the party, at least Karl Rove's little cadre.
And, as far as Bush/Cheney's 'wisdom' (read family influence) and
Kerry/McCain's naive belief and sacrifice, that old piece from Jackson
Browne's Lives in the Balance has come to mind in recent years:
They sell us the president the same way
They sell us our clothes and our cars
They sell us every thing from youth to religion
The same time they sell us our wars
I want to know who the men in the shadows are
I want to hear somebody asking them why
They can be counted on to tell us who our enemies are
But they're never the ones to fight or to die

Bush and Cheney both, were smart to stay out of Vietnam. Look at the
one's who came back from 'nam, they're all nut bags. John Kerry, a skerry
monster from the lagoon. that wanted to be President because he is the
most
disliked Senator, of his fellow Senators. He thought by being President,
the other Senators would be forced to like him. Used a national election,
to try to even the score with his colleagues, what a pathetic 'nam loser.
Look at John McCain. You know the Hanoi Hilton, drove him insane.
Another
'nam nut job that wants to be President.
Thank God, Bush / Cheney didn't go to 'nam. We're safe, because they
were not infected by insanities that went on in Vietnam, because they
weren't there.
