From December 30 to January 4, the Rong Kleu Market on the border with
Cambodia in Sa Kaew province will become a night market, open until
midnight, said the provincial governor yesterday.

After that, the market would be open until midnight every Friday and
Saturday in a bid to boost Aranyaprathet's economy, said Sanit
Naksuksri.


To help make the project a success, the province would promote easier
availability of the sevenday border passes that enable the market's
mostly Cambodian vendors to operate on the Thai side, he added.
