Vietnam culture week held in Cambodia
Nhan Dan– Vietnam Culture Week in Cambodia is being held from November
28 to December 4.
The event was jointly held by the Vietnam Ministry of Culture, Sports
and Tourism and the Cambodia’s Ministry of Culture and Artistry.
The event includes various activities such as painting and photo
exhibition, art performance and exchange between Vietnamese and
Cambodian artists.
On the occasion, a plan on cultural and fine arts cooperation for the
2009-2011 period was signed in Phnom Penh on November 29.
The plan was signed by Minister of Culture and Fine Arts of Cambodia
Him Chhem and Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism of
Vietnam Tran Chien Thang on the occasion of the Vietnam culture week
being held in Cambodia.
Under the plan, Vietnam will also help train Cambodian students at
those schools under the management of Vietnam’s Ministry of Culture,
Sports and Tourism.
