KUANTAN: A Cambodian worker was crushed to death after his fingers got
caught in a roller belt at a rubber factory in Bentong on Sunday.
According to state deputy CID chief (II) Dept Supt Haris Daud, the
incident occurred at about 6am in a factory in Benus when Roset Math,
27, was operating the machine.
``While manning the roller belt, Roset's fingers got caught in the
machine and he could not free himself.
``The right upper part of his body and his head were crushed by the
machine,'' he said at his office here Monday.
Roset was rushed to the Bentong Hospital but was pronounced dead on
arrival, DSP Haris added.
His body was later flown back to Cambodia, he said.
