Samart restructures overseas investment
Major telecom holding firm Samart Corp Plc will set up regional wholly
owned subsidiary in Hong Kong on the registered capital of US$20
million to oversee the investment on infrastructure in Indo China
market.

According to its filing to the Stock Exchange of Thailand on Tuesday,
the board's meeting approved the subsidiary establishment, which is
part of the overseas investment restructuring.

As part of the move, Samart will transfer its total investment in
Cambodia Air Traffic Services Co (CATS) to the new company at US$48
per share, totalling to US$ 12 million.

CATS will also transfer its total investment in Kampot Power Plant Co
to the new company at US$ 10 per share, totalling US$ 5 million.
