Cambodian people need to become aware that those who are under the age
of 18 should be in school instead of helping families to gain economic
livelihood. It sounds like a waste of time but it's not. It has been
proved in all developed nations. Time invested in education before the
age of 18 is more productive over the long run. It's between working in
the farm for less than $30 a month to starting a professional career at
more than $200. That's about 6 times more than what can be possible
when there's no education. The real potential is not just economic.
It's psychic, strategic and ethical. Freedom is more secure and
sustainable when there exist moral and intellectual inputs to life's
realities.
