DEVELOPER - MICROSOFT SHAREPOINT (Calgary, Regina or Winnipeg)

In the role of SharePoint Developer, you will work on developing and
implementing applications with Sierra Systems’ clients in Winnipeg,
Regina, or Calgary. We require at least one Developer in each of these
locations.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
• Provide guidance and expertise on topics surrounding strategy and
best practices for SharePoint.
• Architect, design, develop, implement, and maintain SharePoint
solutions.
• Deploy new solutions, maintain and troubleshoot issues with the
SharePoint software and solutions.
• Work closely with other stakeholders to successfully deliver
solutions.
• Transfer knowledge and technical expertise to other team members and
end users.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• University or college degree
• Extensive (5+ years) experience designing, building, deploying,
upgrading and testing custom SharePoint 2007 and 2010 solutions and
web parts
• 5yrs plus experience as a C# / .NET developer
• Thorough understanding of SharePoint technical architecture
• Experience deploying enterprise level applications using SharePoint
2007/2010
• Experience integrating SharePoint with additional applications
• Experience modifying SharePoint UI, including master pages, page
layouts and CSS
• Knowledge of SharePoint ecosystem, including 3rd party providers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the
ability to create comprehensive technical documentation
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Nice to have: Silverlight, consulting experience, prior experience
working with Government clients, Microsoft certifications
