You were talking about two little sweet words which are
" truth and justice" Which I replied to you respectfully. You came
back with this , in my view theories of truth and justice.
Philosophies, doctrines, the teaching , theories if they
cannot be put into practice they are as good as none. Many people
refer to many people known as wise people, including Buddha,
Confucius, Christ or Mohamed .Politician many times refer to their
successors as well.
As I am a Buddhist and if I refer you to Buddha in
this case of truth and what he said the truth is, through four noble
truths , it would not be fair. Because that's the end of it. No rooms
to debate. If I do not believe in Buddha's teachings I should not be a
Buddhist at all. If I argue against his teachings or do not believe
some people might accuse me if this and that , I know you understand
what I mean..
I strongly believe what we are talking about the truth
and justice which has nothing to do with Buddha's teachings. We are
talking about truth and justice in this the real world , not in a
dream world or in your own words illusions or delusions.
I am glad to know that you have studied about U.S.A.
and if you don't mind I would like to put a question to you of what
period or what time of U.S.A. that you have studied.
To put the question in another word, did you study
U.S.A. from the time you arrived in that country or the present time.
Did you ever bother and studied the past of history of U.S.A. and how
it became so strong in everyway it has become the fore runner.
As you have admitted " True there are flaws and mistakes
in America," To safe the time, I will not go any further in details.
Yet I want to pint out that U.S.A had to passed through many, so many
difficulties you can not even count and made many , too many measures
to make U.S.A. as one nation for all the people in U.S.A. as one
people including you.
Pardon me, for saying you may have missed out the page
or the page which may be not in the history books of U.A.S you may
not have a chance to study the time and era when the so called white
men slaughtered the redskins in a programme of genocide, calling them
savages, barbaric, hostile etc., etc. . I mention it here because
that is the greatest part of how that nation was made and how that
nation becomes powerful.
That nation is powerful, I don't disagree with that, but not
b=necessarily on truth and justice alone my dear Independent
Individualist. I am sure you may not like to know like it when I tell
you my negative views on U.S.A. Don't you think you are looking at
Myanmar and its leaders from the negative angle?
Myanmar leaders are still busy making a nation. The
governments of Union of Myanmar in the past or at present never
engaged in the programmes of genocide no matter what others are
accusing them of. Myanmar leaders are making a nation like U.S.A. for
all people as one people
Besides, the leaders of Myanmar are being accused of being
dictators while others outside powers or the one and only super power
is dictating them and world what to do or else. Never mind that.
What I do not understand is a person , that is you who has
just been to that country, why can't you accept that SPDC or the
leaders of Myanmar will also have flows and mistakes while searching
for perfection. The flows and mistakes that U.S.A. has or had made in
the past or at present. I have to assumed you know them already and
you also know what I am going to say.
I will tell you that no matter you are searching for
perfection you will never find it that's for sure. " nobody is perfect
" is always easily use, commonly use by everybody..
Whatever it is, I also have to agree with you on one thing,
that is
Myanmar has to refine herself as the times moved on. That is what SPDC
is doing. Why cant others those who are inside and on outside of
Myanmar refine themselves and move on. Why do they want Myanmar to go
back or push back to the rare.
The truth and justice in reality is what you accept as truth
and what you accept as justice. No more or no less.
My dear Independent Individualist, as a Buddhist no matter
how much I am good at reciting 38 Mingalas, if I do not understand a
ward of it. or the meaning of it, I am nothing. If I am a Christian
and if I do not following the Christian teachings I am notna
Christian..
These are the questions not to put to others but to put
them to yourself , to myself. I can not say I am strong, let alone to
say I am " Sole Super Power" . Again, when you ask the leaders of
U.S.A. how that nation became " Sole Super Power"? I hope they will
tell you the truth, nothing but the truth , so help them GOD. Justice
depends on that truth my man. .
While you are searching the truth and justice , I hope it
not only in Myanmar. I hope you will be able to search all over the
world. And I hope you will find it.
C'mon Independent Individualist, lastly but not the least,
why don't you study Myanmar before 1823 and Myanmar between 1823 &
1885 and Myanmar between 1885 and 1945, Myanmar between 1945 - 1948 .
Myanmar between 1948 1962, Myanmar between 1962 to 1988, Myanmar 1988
to today. And tell me you views.
I remember you told me that you left Myanmar after Gen. Ne
Win took power. So you must have a long, long time or enough time to
study about Myanmar before his time. Let's hear it.

The changes, the progress, the developments in political,
economical and social; fields in Myanmar. No matter how small they may
be. Myanmar was on its own. The leaders were on their own. Myanmar
could not accept anything from anybody. It is because of Myanmars own
saying which is " Talote sar buu - thu key Zuu " Myanmar could not
accept any offers, Myanmar could not give any offer to any one.
Myanmar saying is, " while you are grazing you must listen to the
sound of the arrows". There are too many arrows but there is not
enough grass to graze in Myanmar. That was why Myanmar had to be
neutral or none aligned nation since 1948..
What Myanmar is suffering is from the site effect of " if you are not
my friend you are my enemy " or " if you are not with me you are
against me ". Here one Mr Independent Individualist is talking about "
truth & justice."
Right or wrong , US and allied forces are engaged in a war
trying to defeat the insurgents in Iraq. I said it right or wrong,
because I simply do not know what to say. Exactly, Searching for
weapons of mass destructions, regime change, war against terrorists
and what else, I lost the tracks, so that's why I said right or wrong.
In Myanmar there are too many insurgents, why they are
there ,who supports the, on what reasons please don't ask me. The
leaders of Myanmar have to deal with them since 1948 until now.
I want to know what they will do in U.S.A, if there were these
insurgents like they have in Myanmar. I know what they are doing in
Iraq, I just want to know is what they would do if there were
insurgencies in U.S.A.
" Can we compromise and seek for truth and justice WITH open
minds? " I like that I cannot say to that , but what I can compromise
with you and be open minded is that everything is subject to one's own
interpretation or translation. Other wise it is not necessary to give
so many meanings , translations or interpretations to one word such as
TRUTH or JUSTICE.in the dictionary. All translations and
interpretations are subject to context.
I agree, when you said , " If any nation is stagnant, stop
and don't change or move with time THEN........................that
nation suffers for that nation will be out of touch with reality and
left behind, irrelevant, only to follow others who move on to
advancement and become developed nations.". These are fine words, how
can I argue with them.
The realities in U.S.A. and the realities in Myanmar, they
are different, you must know. You don't need to ask the astrologers or
seers or palm readers .
Believe me Independent Individualist, Myanmar wants to
change, Myanmar is trying to change, Myanmar is in the process of
changing. The leaders can go as fast as the people can follow. All 54
million people must change. They all must believe in democracy, they
all must abandon armed insurrections It will take time but it is
coming closer than before.
But for Myanmar to change, those who want Myanmar to change
including you must accept the realities of Myanmar. You must help
Myanmar not pushing it away I don't know about you and your Americans
what kind of tradition or customs. What way of life. Myanmars have
their traditions, their customs, their cultures and their way of life,
Do they have the right to have those as theirs?
How long does U.S.A. take to become Sole Super Power? When
you become a US citizen did you have to swear on oath what you will do
or you won't do against your rights or against somebody else's
rights?.
Again, " Proven beyond reasonable doubt."? That's another
sweet phrase. It is another big question my dear Independent
Individualist. Don't say, those who were executed or jailed were done
so because they were proven beyond reasonable doubts.
I am living in the real world, and with full of realities. I
am not living in a dream world with full of dreams. No delusions, no
illusions , no mirages they are all real.
The world itself according to Louise Armstrong, the great
American is a beautiful and wonderful as it is That was before some
people takes advantages of it or abuse it. Do you still say the world
is beautiful and wonderful as Louise Armstrong had stated?.

Reality you says. Dreams are irrelevant , illusions, delusions or
nothing you says. Do you know dreams do come true? Dr. Martin Luther
King Jr.'s dream came true. Did it not? Dreams are pioneer of new
advancements. Dreams are part of thinking. Thinking is the vital
essence of creating things. Without thinking there will not be
science, arts or technology. Thinking and dreams are intertwined. As
long as there are humans there will be thinking AND dreams and this a
fact/reality. Thinking makes human specie better than the rest of all
other species. The ability of thinking is the fundamental value which
makes humans superior than all other species or animals big or small,
weak or strong. Of course there are bad and good thinking/thoughts. Do
you accept that 2 things are always parallel?
When there is good there is evil. God and devil. Peace and war. Male
and female. Destruction and Creation etc. etc. etc. It depends upon an
individual's insight which way he/she prefers. What I really want to
emphasized is that let's start with an "open mind" leaving our own
perspectives and walk through the doors of perception where we all can
find COMMON GROUND which in my mind is TRUTH and JUSTICE. You might
think truth and justice is unrealistic in this corrupt world. For me
it is achievable IF we try hard to find it, learn it, understand it
and implement it!. The weakness is on our shoulders, no one to blame
but the humans themselfves We, as humans need a lot of learning and
researching to do to find the truth nothing but the whole truth so
help us God. Why do I say God help us? Because we as humans are NOT
perfect where else God is perfect. It is possible for a man to find
200 million dollars and yet he barely lives 100 years let alone to
mention living 200 years. True? There goes the fundamental truth that
human do not last very long. How long will Than Shwe live? It is all
up to his cells that can fight his own uphill, losing battle to live
for eventually he will die in the end. Do you think he will live
forever? Since he will not live forever why not do GOOD things for his
own people at least if he don't want to do for mankind. Leave aside
what religion he believe, I'm talking about doing goodwill towards his
own people or improve that status of Myanmar as a source of creating
refugees and many chaotic problems internationally. Can't he? Did than
shwe seriously think tossing the state power from one general to
another or staging military coups is the solution for making Myanmar
modern developed nation that he declare or claim for? Didn't he wants
to do some good things towards mankind or at least for his own people
before he die? Ne Win dies doing nothing tangible good to his people
and nation in fact he destroy his own nation. Than Shwe going to do
the same thing showing his younger officers how to exploit the state
power and reap riches for their upcoming new Kyaing Kyaings or Myaing
Myaings? This circle of injustices towards the people of Burma and
Burma MUST be stop for IF it does not stop Burma will always will be
the "follower" of other nations that advance way ahead of her and will
never be the leader of other nations. Not a slim chance.
Since I'm and you are in soc.culture.burma forum let's emphasized how
to solve the problem of Burma. America is a developed nation. She is
well established and build on strong foundation called "Constitution".
Even the brilliant thoughts of America's forefathers have or need
redefining and that is why we as Americans did "Amendments" to the
original Constitution. Still America is in the process of defining
herself to this date. True every nation on earth has good or bad times/
eras for we all are HUMANS. Aren't we? Humans does make mistakes, no
doubt about. The point is when we see or find mistakes we need to
correct it or fix it. That's when it became relevant for USA always is
flexible and redefine herself while UM (Union of Myanmar) is stubborn
and stick to one spot, stagnant and do not change. That's where the
mistakes of UM suffers tremendous negative impact which can result in
human disaster. Of course America has her own problems too but we seek
for solutions, good solutions and try and fix it. No nation on earth
is perfect as I said for we all are humans with weaknesses and
defects.
I had already declare I am nothing. I came from nothing. I am heading
towards nothing. I will be nothing when I die but the truth will lives
on forever. Even the entire universe is made out of nothing (big bang
theory). Speaking about science do you know the father of science, the
great pioneer scientist Albert Einstein create the famous and
fundamental formula which is E = MC2 . His formula is so beautiful
that it creates both destruction (inventor of nuclear reaction/bomb)
and creation (big bang theory?). The parallel thing that I refer. He
is a well known scientist and YET he believes in creation and it is
known he dies searching the minds of God, the ultimate creator.
Science is base on reality or facts. Since I'm NOT a scholar let's
leave the technicalities and talk about realities of TODAY/CURRENT.
Shall we? It is good to "refer" to past but past is past there is
nothing we can do or changed what had happened, good or bad. What we
can do as diverse society where different opinions and thoughts
counts, let's try and make the most of it for what we decide today
effects tomorrow. In other words although we cannot change the past
which is finished, we can change (for good) today and make tomorrow a
pleasant day. Does it sounds reasonable/logical? Instead of going back
to the past which is done deal, let's concentrate/focus on today's
problems and make it right the wrong. People who had these kinds of
attitude find success for successful men or women does not think
negative or cry over spilled milk. OK............what is right and what is
wrong? Reveal your insight what is wrong with Burma's problems and
what should be done? Go ahead and spit it out loud!
Will stop for now for I hate long statements (already too long for
me).
