WHEN HE WAS DISCHARGED FROM OFFICE THE US CONSTITUTION ALLOWS THE VICE
PRESIDENT TO TAKE OVER. THIS IS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LAW AND CONSTITUTION
OF THE US. ALL THAT IS QUITE IN ORDER. THE PEOPLE AND THE CONGRESS AND
SENATE ACCEPTED THAT.
THAN SHWE WAS NOT ELECTED. TECHNICALLY SPEAKING THE JUNTA REGIME NABBED THE
COUNTRY AND IT IS AN ILLEGAL ROGUE GOVERNMENT. YOU ARE AN IGNORANT MAN. I AM
WASTING MY TIME ON YOU.
BY THE WAY I HAVE NOT MURDERED ANY ONE; I HAVE NO BLOOD ON MY HANDS LIKE THE
BSPP/NUP/SLORC/SPDC/USDA/SANDO. I HAVE NO CONNECTION WITH THE KNU OR ANY

democratic nation of the world. But couldn't help it, it was emergency
it was the prevailing situation of the trime , call it what you may.

Your general knowledge is so very poor. You have absolutely
nothing in your thing which is called head in the middle of your
shoulders.

old Burmese Kings & Queens who had the Royal Readers and writers, read
and wrote for them.No wonder they were ignorant. Even at present time
there are speach writers for the world leaders to make speach, like

Let me give you a little bit of free education or refresh
your memories.. There are over 30 nations in the world many of their
MPs are not elected but hand picked, if you must know. United States ,
United Kingdom and India are among them.

If you look at the modern Burmese history and understand it,
you may notice that there were situations created by those who wants
to tear Unioin of Burma apart into pieces. If the Tatmadaw didn't take
care of it Union od Burma would have been wiped out of the world map
long ago.

It had created a situation for Tatmadaw to take a leading
role in Burmese politic. As a matter of fact modern Burma started with
Tatmadaw headed by Aung San which liberated Burma from British and
Japanese. Union of Burma and all its parts are for all people in Burma.


Politician could not take care of Burma. Or they themselves
created the dangerous situations so that to make themselves look busy..
But they became out of control. Burma was in trouble which is called
crisis many times and the last one in 1988. The year everything was out
of control, the people demanded Actually Tatmadaw was busy doing their
dirty jobs to take the blames but not the credits.

" The prevailing situations " demanded and the people
demanded Tatmadaw to take over in 1988 and there after,.because there
were killing free, beheading, looting, criminals roaming the streets.

Who knows, you may be one of them who had absconded.You may
have been wanted for murder of those policemen and soldiers, you may be
the one who beheaded the civillians, you may have escaped with the
loots You will never admit. How many criminals like you escaped to
foreign countries under the name of political asylem seekers or at
least as refugees. You have to oppose and protest whatever SPDC does,
so that you can qualify for a rice coupon and other benefits aka
rewards for opposing SPDC. keeping you busy opposing SPDC not to be
able to get involve in the politic of the country you are residing.
Why not, Ma Su Kyi is awarded for putting the Burmese into miseries.
denying their rights to progress and to be developed.

It is learned that there will be seven legislative bodies in the
legislative structure in future State. They are Phyidaungsu Hluttaw,
Pyithu Hluttaw , Amyotha Hluttaw, Region /State Hluttaw , and the self
administered division and self administered zone leading bodies.

The legislative power of State are distributed among the Hluttaws
above
. Legislative power prescribed by the Constitution is distributed to
self-administered areas.

Qualification of the representatives of the respective Hluttawa are
prescribed with emphasis on their abilities to serve the interest of
the nation and the people.The Hluttaws representatives concerned
should
be truly the good sons of the nation and the people.

In connection with the qualification of Pyithu Hluttaw, the persons
possessing the following qualifications are eligible to stand for
elections Pyithu Hluttaw representative,

1. having attained the age of 25.

2. being a citizen born of parents both of whom are also citizens.

3. having settled in Union of Myanmar for at least 10 consecutive
years up to the time of being elected Pyithu Hluttaw representative

4. possessing qualifications prescribed in the election law.

Pyithu Hluttaw has to introduce laws as necessary . It has to carry
out
the duties and functions vested by the State Constitution according to
laws and bylaws. Since the Pyithu Hluttaws representatives have to
carry out important duties they should be experienced and
knowledgeable
persons. Begin to gain experience at age 25 and able to learn more

The two Hluttaws at the central level, the number of 440
representatives is the largest to enable extensive participation of
national races th3 length and breadth of the nation and a large number
of new generation youths .

The youths who have attained 25 years and who are qualified will be
able to participate in the Pyithu Hluttaw. At the same time , the
middle aged persons of about 40 years or so as well as the seniors who
are 50 - 60 years old will also take part in it.

The seniors are experiences persons with ample knowledge about the
past
and the middle aged persons are ready to play whatever role they are
going to be assigned .The qualifies youths are to word together with
the elders and gain experience and knowledge. That is the way they
will
prepare for the heavier responsibilities in the future

The Pyithu Hluttaw there fore serves as a proper link for the people
of
different age. Age 25 is prescribed in consideration of future
prospects of the nation and the people. It is a plan tom provide a
proper link between the fine historical tradition and the energetic
qualities among the seniors, the middle aged and the youth or to
ensure
that there is no break in the link of national politic in future. The
main reason is to constantly turn our patriots youths who will be
able
to shoulder the responsibilities of the State in the future.

The National Convention has laid down a basic principal concerning the
citizens and the citizen fundamental rights and responsibilities --
All
persons born of parents both of whom are national are citizens; all
persons who have become citizens in accord with the law on the date
the
State constitution comes into force are citizens , and citizenship,
naturalization and revocation of citizenship shall be prescribe by
law.


A person who will stand for election to Pyithu Hluttaw should have
experienced the political, economic, administration and social
developments in the country. He should have lives in the country for

consecutive years . If he has not live in the country but lived abroad
and if he is elected no one will know his mentality and tendency
influence by external elements.

If w practice multi - party democracy system it is necessary to
prevent
a group of persons from misuse of power and also guard against
traitorous elements relying on the foreign masters from interfering in
the affair of the State.

Similar qualification are to be prescribed for the Amyotha Hluttaw
representative. The only difference is Amyotha Hluttaw representatives
have completed 30 years of age The number of Amyotha Hluttaw is 224

They will have to be more experienced and knowledgeable to be able to
deal with political, economic, administrative and social affairs.

The Tatmadaw member Hluttaw representative should posses the same
qualification as above. The Commander- in Chief of the armed forces
has
been granted to nominate Tatmadaw members representatives every
nominee
needs to posses similar qualification as the Pyithu Hluttaw
representatives This may be seen as check and balance They must also
be seen as distribution of power and check and balance , that are
democratic practices.
Similarly, qualification of the Region/ state Hluttaww are the same as
Pyithu Hluttaw representatives.

There will be restrictions and conditions for those who are not
eligible to stand for the election

The 12 principals , laid down are for those who are serving prison
terms for criminal offence , who have violated election laws, who are
declared bankrupt, who are insane, who are members of Sangha and State
service personnel.

A person owing allegiance to a foreign government, persons who is
entitled to rights and privileges of a subject of a foreign government
or a citizen of a foreign country, they have no right to stand for the
election as Pyithu Hluttaw representative.

Also person who obtain and make use of members of an organization that
obtain and made use of money, land, housing, building, vehicle.
property etc., directly or indirectly from a foreign country's
government or religious organization or other organization shall have
no right to stand for election as Pyithu Hluttaw representative

These restrictions and conditions also apply to the Tatmadaw member
candidate nominated by the Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services.
