X-No-Archive:
Why do you write such things which you know to be a lie? The US has no
such ConPlan Burma, and will not invade Burma in a thousand years. You
destroy what little credibility you have left by making such claims.
Why is the opposition so useless and cowardly, always waiting for
someone else to do something? If you want to change your government,
go home and do it. If you are too cowardly or not smart enough to come
up with a plan, then just shut up. Do you think the East Germans or
Romanians or Czechs had help? Do you think they were not against great
odds? The difference is courage, something you do not seem to have.
Even the government is making claims about some invasion, although this
is probably more of a shill to try to strengthen their support base.
Unless they are even more stupid than they seem, they know very well
the US could not care any less about Burma. The US speaks
occasionally, but has neither the interest nor the troops/equipment to
undertake such a plan. Burma is a small meaningless country. Small
meaningless countries get words, nothing else. Nobody wants to die for
a small meaningless country.
The US does not support exile groups who would engage in terror against
innocent civilians. At times some agencies that the USG supports might
give some small funding to exile groups, but if the US Government ever
discovered any of the funds ended up in the hands of people who harm
innocent civilians, all support would stop.
Whether it is right or not, SPDC has absolutely nothing to fear from
the US Government. Even if the US is successful in raising the issue
of Burma at the UNSC, which is unlikely, nothing will ever happen. If
the UNSC issued a "use of force" declaration, the only country that
could carry out such a plan would be the US, and they are too busy in
Iraq and Afghanistan and North Korea to do anything.
That some diplomats visit the NLD offices or whatever is of no
consequence. Anything they do is a purely private matter. They are
not under any orders to do anything. They could write a report of
their talks and send it back to Washington, but nobody would read it
anyway, because nobody cares. It is humorous that SPDC would be
fearful of this. For all the good it would do, SPDC should offer the
diplomats rides and box lunches to and from NLD headquarters. SPDC
might even make friends with them, since the diplomats are sick and
tired of the NLD and opposition anyway.
Both the exiles and SPDC have a wildly inflated view of what the world
thinks about them, or how much time the world thinks about them. The
truth is, few people care anymore. That might be sad, but it is true.
People have given up on you. The government has ruined the country so
much that it has become irrelevant in today's world. The people have
shown such a lack of willingness to do anything to make their lives
better that even the friends have walked away. And the opposition has
proven itself to be ineffectual and self-serving, demanding sanctions
when they are far away from any of the effects, and failing to see
everything they have tried is a failure.
SPDC is completely free to do whatever they want, so long as they keep
it within their borders. That is the sad reality. There is no ConPlan
Burma, just as their is really no Burmese Resistance. Both are
fantasies. Blame yourself if you want to find out who is at fault.

Re : You Can't Negotiate with that Monkey
Than Shwe is an alleged mass murderer. You can't negotiate with that
Monkey. He should stand trial for mass murder like Slobodan Milosevic
and Saddam Hussein.
ASSK has repeatedly asked for UN investigation of the May 30th Massacre
similar to the
UN Security Council investigation of the assassination of former
Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri.
We know of the existance of "ConPlan Burma". This is the classified
Contingency
Military Plan for Burma prepared by the U.S. Department of Defense. We
must lobby President Bush and Congressional leaders for the swift
deployment of 10,000 American troops to Rangoon to maintain law and
order, at the request of the elected government of Burma, during the
next national uprising in Burma.
This is our "Road-Map" for the restoration of freedom and democracy in
Burma. Talk is cheap, Watch what we do.
