Not a lot of people know Burma in here where I am studying, UK. As
soon as you say you are from Burma, they seem to be thinking hard and
said "Sorry where is it, how is it like, it's a small country,
isn't it?" Burma is almost three times bigger than UK for god sake,
and its 40th biggest country in the world in the record, how could that
not be noticeable.
English people recognises it if says it was once colonialised by you
people, then there goes 'Oh Yah Yah, I've heard of it'. Indian
people says 'its part of our land, isn't it?' Hell No, buddy,
completely wrong. It is an independent, beautiful country in the
eastern world. I could shout with pride. Europeans may say 'sorry
where is it, how do you spell it?' but suprisingly they all recognise
Burma if you mention Aung San Su Kyi. Please back me up, that true
isn't it people?
You know being a Burmese is not easy, because we are proud people for
our country. We always find something to be proud of. Something like
motorcar prices, how expensive phones are, speak better english than
some European countries, and you don't need to be educated to become
our country leader (you don't need to know economic, you don't need
to be competent and knowledgeable but you need to be bloody tough to
your own people and you need to know how to use arms) etc. I know that
you all know, I am just explaining to other people who don't know. Oh
almost forgotten, you need to know astrology to govern your country,
because that is how and what we maintained for centuries to govern the
country.
I have started the ------------------------------------- course over a
year ago with the ambition of promoting the human capital in Burma in
every aspects. Every single lesson or seminar I learnt, I compared and
contrasted with the theory and the situations in Burma. You know what,
I got mad. Have you had that experience, you found out all the good
things and it would easily be possible if we implement it in Burma.
Anything is possible if you let it, but why is it not happening, is
there anything wrong? Do you see any, lets discuss ---------?
