"After launch, Kepler is designed to turn its unblinking camera eye at a patch of sky between 600 and 3,000 light-years from Earth in the direction of the constellations Cygnus and Lyra. The target zone covers an area similar to what a human hand could cover when held at arm's length."

Безнадежна работа. Дори и да има населена планета на 600 светлинни години, практически за отделния човек е все едно, че я няма: като им кажеш здрасти по телефона, ще минат 600 години, докато те чуят. И още 600 докато чуеш отговора. Освен ако господ или може би алах, като по-всемогъщ, не помогне с някое чудо. <g>
