Hi everyone!
In Germany, we have badges to indicate how well a person can swim. The lowest rank would be "Seepferdchen" (sea horse), which includes swimming for 25 metres and picking up an object out of the water. Those tests are supervised by the DLRG (Deutsche-Lebens-Rettungs-Gesellschaft / German Life Saving Organization), the German version of Baywatch ;-) Are there similar ranks in Great Britain?
Greetings,
Andreas.
