The Verdict gave a fascnating insight into a system that mercifully
most of us have never and will never experience.
However I found it very disturbing that in the end the panel found the
accused not guilty even though the majority seemed to think rape was
committed. This was because the judge said they had to be SURE in
order to find guilty. But when it is one person's word against
another's how can anyone be 100% sure without having actually been
there and seen for themselves. Most horrifying is that there might be
a lot of rapists roaming around freely out there.
