Or else what? Anyway, izlam IS extremism, if you removed the
extremism there would be nothing left. It's sort of like how
a few years ago North Korea announced that it would allow
xian missionaries into the country, as long as they taught the
principles of Juche, DPRK's official state ideology-religion.
Since Juche is incompatible with the tenets of xianity (e.g.
it teaches that Kim Il Sung is a god), a xian who taught Juche
would not be a xian at all. And if a ragheaded izlamist cleric
were to denounce extremism and violent jihad, he would not be
a moozlum at all.

I'm only surprised UK law doesn't mandate public funding of the
extremist clerics, as some form of affirmative action for
minority viewpoints. Not only can Evil Hook stand there calling
for the destruction of Great Britain and the death of its
people, the British government pays for his megaphone. And if
any Briton criticizes Evil Hook (with or without a megaphone),
they are prosecuted under hate crime laws.
