with the loss of two lives I find it sad, bewildering, and a little
scary that some young English people actually cheered the german win
over argentina this afternoon.
True England engaged in a minor skirmish with the argies over some
faraway insignificant islands, but what germany did with regard to
concentration camps is ina nother universe of evil.
Enjoy your football, but please let us never forget the horrors of the
past lest they repeat themselves.
While we're on the subject of atrocities, remember history is always
written by the winners.
So Germans never write history? How odd.
The UK has little to be proud of in it's
treatment of the Irish, the Scots, the Welsh and most of the parts of
the world which were marked red in old atlases. The fact that red was
chosen is an apt metaphor.
It was pink actually.
The rest of your comments are similarly misinformed.
