As someone whose family was bombed out of their home by Germany in WWII
with the loss of two lives I find it sad, bewildering, and a little
scary that some young English people actually cheered the german win
over argentina this afternoon.
True England engaged in a minor skirmish with the argies over some
faraway insignificant islands, but what germany did with regard to
concentration camps is ina nother universe of evil.
Enjoy your football, but please let us never forget the horrors of the
past lest they repeat themselves.
