Well, if these neocons are murdering bastards, then Tony Blair is also
a murdering bastard for sending troops to Iraq, (and he didn't have any
neocon's advising him to go to war). And George Bush would be a
murdering *** for going to war. And half of America would be
murdering bastards for initially supporting the war. And I hope you
reserve some of your outrage for Saddam Hussein, who is supposed to
have killed up to a million Iraqis. And some outrage should be left
over for Zarqawi's followers, who have blown up Shiites in Mosques and
religious processions, and Jordanians in weddings. And then some
outrage should be left over for the Shiites too, for running secret
torture centers and death squads. And some outrage should be left over
for Iraq's neighbor Iran, where a judge recently sentenced a man to
have his eyes surgically removed. Maybe the US and Britain should have
left Iraq in Saddam's bloody hands - maybe we should have allowed him
to continue throwing dissidents into shredders. Probably the regime
that Iraq will end up with will be just as bad. But I respectfully
disagree with your characterization of the neocons as murdering
bastards.
