You probably know that Estonian Orthodox Church is part of it since
collapse of SU. In 2007 half of Russian Orthodox Church in Britain
split from Moscow and joined Ecumenical Patriarchate. It is an asylum
for those who used to be administered by Moscow and there are some
very good reasons for choosing Constantinople.
Well, it is just history - Estonian orthodox church was part of
Ecumenical patriarchate till Soviets occupied Estonia in 1940
Yes in 1918-1940. Before that it was part of Moscow Patriarchate.
