That may be true. Unhappily China is way too big
to be on side of someone - he's a "side" of his own.
Against China there's always viral defense, like SARS, bird flu etc. We invent a pandemic virus and plant it in China. Their population density will take care of the rest. But it's important to keep them all inside China in the spreading phase. [I'm joking, of course. I suppose.]
And by Chinese understanding, all southern Siberia
is part of China temporarily occupied by Russia.
Why 'southern'? I think they are looking greedily at everything east of the Yenisey (which already is a Chinese-sounding name).
We can only keep our fingers crossed that economic growth in China will produce enough middle class to sweap away the 'communists'. Otherwise we will once be longing back to the peaceful years of western confrontation with Islam.
