One of the latest strikes of my union was about us getting paid
slightly less than school teachers. I personally don't mind, their
job can be more stressful.
My main problem with strikes is that they bring disruption and those
who meet most consequences are not guilty in what caused the strike.
That's true. The strike card should be played very sparingly, Imho. It
is however sad so see that nurses¹ need to fight tooth and nail to get a
salary they deserve, but others who already can afford all the goodies
in life with their salary insist on making a mess for everybody else.
¹) Nurses in Finland have a very modest salary in comparison to their
sisters and brothers in the UK, Norway and Sweden. Hence a mass exodus
to these countries in the 1990's, early 2000's.
¹https://www.paypal.comThanks. Next time I need to do it I will explore other ways.
I think you need a credit card in order to transfer money to your paypal
account. The receiver will probably need a paypal account too. Im not
sure. The details can be found on their pages.

It would be interesting if the government goes on strike too.

There are plenty of nurses from abroad here. Most of them from places
much poorer than Finland -))))
