Even if the history is different, Finland provides an example worth
emulating of a functional and lingistically tolerant society.
That I don't deny. But it's an example that doesn't help Estonia and Latvia.
Our solutions are not applicable there. Not in fifty years, at least.
Bringing them up serves 'the other side' (from where *I* stand).
Such "settlements" always take long time to shape. One thing is most
certain - the developments are more likely to follow the footsteps of
Finland than Balkans or Caucasus.
