Yet - - why"? Is the Kremlin attempting to
psych the russkie serfs up for some
military adventure? Is Georgia their target - or,
is it Sevastopol?

And, oh yeah, I see that one of the seriously
overweight russkie generalissimos is indicating
that mucho more troops must be dislocated
into the northwest. I guess those damn
Estonian militaristic hordes mus be threatening
poor matushka again.

Anyway - I thought it was worth a note.

Could it be Georgia?? They might be in for
some trouble. Just so happens that I
was on vaccation in Georgia a few days
ago. Watched a military parade in Tibilisi
held on the occasion of their indpendence
day (May 26). Looked very, very different
from Russian parades. No stiff, goose stepping
soldiers, no fat generals with medal covered
chests. The young men in clean comouflage
uniforms, with NATO regulation weapons looked
at the same time relaxed and
also professional. Georgians, not just
Saakashvili, tend to be tall, this augmented
the positive impression. In general the
impression from Geargia is positive, yes
it is still fairly chaotic, in rural regions
poor, but it is a creative chaos. Much
building, much activity, a country on the
go. The Soviet-Russian past is decidedly
gone. To add a note, they seem to
adore Lithuanians. Good luck to
Georgia!.

In order to prevent future bruised
russkie feelings (since we know how
concerned old Europe is about russkie
sensitivities) Kalmenas might wish
to conform to acceptable norms when
writing about his travels into any of
the lands neighboring russkia - at least
those which managed to escape
the crushing matushka embrace.

Always - *always* indicate the general
level of degeneracy that those neighboring
re-established nations have experienced
since their deprivation of the civilizing
influence of the russkie KGB (or same
thing going under other acronyms).

Never - *ever* compare russkielandia,
or the noble denizens residing therein, in any
way as being equivalent or (shudder) even
lesser to one of the earlier defined nations
or their inhabitants.

Never - *ever*!!

That should at least bring comfort to the
ueber-russkies who took the first possible
opportunity to scuttle out of matushka and
post in this forum.
