Obviously not, in the first was the last and the only Ostap - Yurskii.

yes, but the later movies' (both "12 Chairs") Ostap never came even
close to one played by Yurskii. These movies have some lucky shot here
and there but in total:- nothing to compare to Ostap, Shura and
Panikovsky of "Golden Calf".

What about Mel Brooks? He looks like an authentic Ostap!

Yes, however Yurski is still unsurpassable.
