so you will simply have to *accept* that, because I will *continue*
doing it. Ha ha.
Besides, this candidate was not liked only by foreigners but also by a
majority of the voters. Perhaps not by you, however, and definitely not
by Russia, because that country has decided to *hate* a west-oriented
Georgia.
Other than his sexual escapades, his naming a street after Bush
Junior, his love for Stalin, and his murdering and torturing his
opponents left and right, what other signs of "west-orientation" has
Misha Caligula shown?
The guy must have done something right since the Kremlin hates his
guts. I guess it's his NATO and EU ambitions.
Dislike by Kremlin does not *prove* necessarily high democratic
standards.
For John it does. I am sure he loved Pinochet, South African
apartheidans, Chairman Mao, and Pol Pot, since all of them were also
hated by the Kremlin.
Let's wait and see *his* reply/shift of positions :-)
BTW Turkey have not been expelled from NATO during
"less democratic" periods :-)
Don't touch Turkey. It symbolises everything that NATO stands for.
Which is? It would be "interesting" to read your version.
Well, until 1992 or so, NATO had a legitimate purpose of restraining
the Soviet Union.
Since then, NATO has become a vehicle for American domination of
Europe, and American politicians scaring American taxpayers into
parting with their hard-earned money for the sake of the military-
industrial complex, just as President Eisenhower had warned about
almost in his parting speech 50 years ago.
NATO has been always a multipurpose tool.
Only publicly declared main purpose has changed.
I retain my opinion stated above: US domination of Europe + milking
the taxpayers.
As far as similarity with Turkey goes, NATO espouses the same kind of
bigotry and ruthlessness that Turkey is famous for.
[ Know your enemies ;-) ]
Are you trying to pretend that we disagree?
When two *intelligent* people fully agree it usually means one of below:
a) they discuss something they do not care about too much
b) at least one of them does not/can not tell the truth
c) they have not discussed enough details
Not necessarily. My twin daughters agree on almost everything. :-)
Full agreement does look very suspicious :-)
BTW, a piece of wisdom du jour: appreciate your enemies for their
devotion to you, because friends come and go, but enemies are forever.
Enemies tend to be more "stable" than friends, thats all.
*Nothing* lasts forever :-)
You haven't heard Castro give his speeches... :-)
