OK, let's be fair - this is a *political* rating by the US foreign
affairs semi-governmental political action/think tank institution. As
such Carnegi Endowment for International Peace is free to choose
subjects for the ratings based on what interest or immediate concern a
particular country presents for the US.
You will not find on the list Liechtenstein, Belorussia or San Marino
and many others.

But I would say that CEIP did a sloppy job: I don't think I am belong to
minority of people who raised brows finding Jordan(rank #9) to be a
front runner. I mean even the dumbest supporters of globalization should
be embarassed - what the globalization worth if the fourth world country
sets a standard in it. Also see Ukraine and Uganda ahead of Greece.

Well, all that multicolor tables and numbers (meanings of which are
uknown) probably look impressive in annual report to sponsors.

None from the above. I have little interest in political ratings and when I do then only as a characteristic of the rating institution: it rather straightforwardly reveals a particular institution's preferences and tolerance to objectivity, which as you can see is very low in case of CEIP. That is in addition to trivial lack of professionalism.

Why you are so obsessed with all these fraudulent ratings? Does it really makes your real life any better?
