:-)) Don't know, may be there was? These two things are quite popular
in Latgale and the rest of Latvia, although smoked fish and beer are
more traditional. But take a look at other pics on this website
(nothing to do with krievu chastushkas). I passed Malta on the way
from Rezekne to Daugavpils few years ago, I even stopped there, but I
didn't get any impression that this place has so many interesting
events (it looked almost dead).
