If you mean Tallinn - there was not there, but the minority history

What you mean with "censoring history", Vladimir?

Exactly that: censoring history. Moving out of public view a particular
page from history book.

VM.

No one can rewrite history. Just any nation will decide, what parts of
their history they will glorify with monuments, wich parts not.

That's the problem: as the nation you mean ethnic Estonians. That is how
the country is run: on the base of ethnic segregation, no wonder
Estonian government doesn't have a single non Estonian:http://www.valitsus.ee/?id=6538

This problem is not going away.

I don't think about ethnic Estonians. I think about our nation as a
people who feel they are part of our nation, no matter are their
ethnic roots in Estonia, Russia, Germany or Sveden.

Really, you don't need that nice PC statements: "ved' my vdvoem i ne
pod kumachem". It's not some EU meeting on minorities. We can afford to
be frank here.
So how many non ethnic Estonians are MP? About the government I already
know - none.

Huh, do you know all US congresmen by name and nationality? :-)

You mean ethnicity. Some of them - yes. However ethnicity is not an
issue in the US. This Euro game is played only in back yards here. And
severely punished if tresspases the boundaries.

But I
take the task and here are the results: 8 russians, 1 finn, 1 german,
1 swede, 1 jew :-) It makes 12 from 101, a bit less then 12%

So without Finn, German and Swede it is 9%?

Taxation without representation ends up as a Boston tea party.

You
can't find monuments of Napoleon or Batu khan in capital cities they
had conquered in past -'why by you? During Bronzeman process I first
time get in formed that one sole nation from participants of ww2 still
don't honour victims of opposite side - it's Russia. (From official
statement from Russian ambassador in Estonia why they don't join other
ambassadors to honour dead german soldiers after honouring russian
ones on military cemetery in Tallinn.)

Was Israeli ambassador invited too? What was his reply?

Interesting :-) Must check. But why not - case was about keeping
memory of those who let their lives in ww2, surely not to glorify
tyrants who send youg people to kill each other and anyone.

Well, the answer to "why not" is on the table, I cannot add anything
for you to understand that the war Germany and Co were waging on the
Eastern Front was in first turn the planned in detail genocide.

VM.

It may be so but surely not planned by individuals who's bones are
lying in Russian, Estonian, Polish etc soil. ww2 hits Poland much
harder in compare with Russia, but Polish do give their honour to all
dead soldiers of ww2 - like all other european nations, no matter in
East or West (must still check that Israel thing)

You definitely should. Just keep a safe distance when you ask them that
question, Jews sometimes impulsively aggressive.
