historically, have there ever been calls for a unification of est, lat,
and lith? i thought of this question because i am always noticing that the
cultures of the three countries are often lumped together in literature.
didn't the area at one time belong to a larger version of lithuania?
these are just innocent questions and i am not trying to imply anything.
lorad, henry, and anita need not be offended.
It is only someone as dense as the
bubble-bath admiral who would
ask about the time of arrival of a
train - after the tracks had already
been pulled up.
Since the poor boy is so dense - let
me explain. The "train" was the one
intended to take the three Baltic countries to
a defensive union. The "tracks" were
pulled up when all three were permitted
to join NATO.
Going a bit further - would I want dear
ol' Petriukas as a "brother"? Gimme
a break!
