No doubt it's somehow related to 'fitta'. Probably a loanword from
Swedish.Speaking of Swedish, the Russians couldn't sell their Lada in Sweden under
the original name but had to call it VAZ. 'Lada' means 'barn' in Swedish.

A similar meaning also in Latvian where it means a 'storage place'...

But also has an another meaning of 'curse'.
