'Racism' suspected in six attacks
Two attacks on houses in Dunmurry on the outskirts of Belfast may have
been "racially motivated", police have said.
There has been widespread condemnation of the attacks. In one incident
three women were beaten with baseball bats.
"While we must always condemn all of these attacks we must go beyond
that and assure the people that we don't want to sent this message out
to them."
Actually what they must do is simple due dilligence.
Get their inept police to bust the local criminals. This sort of
barbarian thuggery has been going on for years and years.
On a positive note, the Republic of Ireland's (and not the highly
messed up Northern Ireland) government has initiated governmental
contacts with Latvia (just lastweek) in order to streamline procedures
in order to facilitate Latvian guest workers return to Latvia. It seems
that there are quite a few Latvians who have found themselves stranded
in Ireland due to legal or financial barriers.
