In a way, there you have the heart of it. "Backed by the UK, France,
Italy..." etc. means backed by some lefty bureaucrats in some
institutions in UK, France, Italy... etc.

None of this means a Rat's Fart to the People of the UK, France or
Italy. Let's see how this little discrepancy between "UK, France,
Italy" and the people that pay for all this crap in the UK, France,
Italy pans out.
Maybe more Bureaucrats. Maybe less. Let's see.
