Yes, we are expecting an attack any day now. From Austria.

I'm looking forward to Estonia being a Schengen country. Now the harbour in
Tallinn really hasn't got enough space to handle efficiently all the cars
that are queuing to the passport control. Yesterday we had to wait 45
minutes on the upper car deck of m/s Rosella before we could drive out!
That's a lot when the whole voyage takes 180 minutes.

Another thing: it's stupid that the big lorries are shipped from city centre
to city centre -- they are a nuisance both in Helsinki and in Tallinn. Cargo
traffic should be restricted to the Muuga and Sompasaari (later Vuosaari)
harbours.

Has there been any discussion in Estonia about an alleged Russian exercise
attack with 20 fighter aircraft approaching the Russo-Estonian border? This
was brought up in one of the Finnish presidential election TV debates
recently. Both Halonen and Vanhanen tried to avoid the question. It was
unclear if this was (1) because they actually didn't know about it, or (2)
because they are helping Putin to cover it up, or (3) because it would be
embarrassing if Estonia hadn't noticed the whole thing, or (4) because there
never was an attack exercise.

Regards,
John
