Unlike the victims of a war, the mushroom pickers eventually return,
unless they happen to snack on a really poisonous mushroom :-( Even if
they pay their taxes to Ireland, some of that money eventually helps
Latvia in the form of Irish EU contributions. That's what interdependency
is all about.
