Uno Hu's Litany of Lies: Latest Series

Uno Hu[i], also known as, i.a. Lorad474, JonHill, JonHillr, Arno Russky,
has been polluting SCB with an exceptional(!) quantity of vile lies,
buffooneries, grotesqueries, and nejêgadoms of late. Here is a short
meticulously documented listing of some of the more recent examples of his
unprecedented mendaciousness. To simplify matters, I shall refer to the
gaggle of nejêgas mentioned above generically as Uno Hu[i].

Lie #1: Uno Hu[i] had claimed in an earlier lie

President Tarja Halonen is a former director of a sex clinic. When it was
pointed out to him that a) this is not true (cf.
http://www.helsinki.fi/~eisaksso/tarja.html), and b) that her education as
a lawyer does not give her the competence to direct a sex clinic, his
response was: "Why do you object so strenuously to this information?"

Fact: Tarja Halonen headed a Finnish NGO, SETA, that lobbied for equal
rights for sexual minorities back in the 1970s when there were still laws
on the books criminalizing their behavior or discriminating against them,
a far cry from directing a sex clinic or sex clinics.

Lie #2: Uno Hu[i] claims that a person who would state that the Latvian
words puika 'boy, lad', bure 'sail', and mâja 'house' are loans from
Finnic is an "anti-Baltic liar"

claim is an "anti-Baltic slur on the Baltic language"
(1130912844.332730.224290@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx).
Fact: Quoting the opinions stated by internationally recognized experts in
the standard reference works relevant to the field, e.g. Z. Zinkevicîus in
his *The History of the Lithuanian Language*, K. Karulis in his
*Latvies^u etimolog,ijas vârdnîca*, can hardly be regarded as
'anti-Baltic', a 'lie', or a 'slur'. Additionally, there us no such thing
as "the Baltic
language"; there are two living Baltic languages, Latvian and Lithuanian,
and they are the modern and localized versions of a no-longer extant
language, proto-Baltic (cf.

Lie #3: Uno Hu[i] claims that Estonia was never a 'Soviet' country, but
rather along with Lithuania and Latvia, was an *Occupied Nation*
(1131001169.622661.76210@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx).
Fact: Legalistically Uno Hu[i] does, almost unique for him, have a leg to stand
on concerning this issue. Nevertheless, even if the incorporation of the
three Baltic countries into the USSR after 1944 was not recognized *de
jure* by many countries, *de facto* residents of the Baltic countries were
subject to Soviet laws, carried Soviet passports, and were regarded by the
world
community as Soviet citizens. After considerable internal debate, the
United States recognized *de facto* Soviet sovereignty over the Baltic
countries when it deported the Estonian-born Nazi war criminal Karl Linnas
to the Soviet Union for crimes committed in German-occupied Estonia (cf.
http://reformjudaismmag.net/1096ca.html), even though these crimes took
place before the 1944 re-incorporation of Estonia into the USSR.

Lie #4: Uno Hu[i] claims that Peteris Cedrins is "a proven analfabet"
(1133071394.109076.4630@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx).
Fact: The word 'analfabet' does not exist in English, although the word
'analphabetic' does. Spelling the word incorrectly and omitting the
derivational suffix indicates that Uno Hu[i], rather than Peteris, exhibits
signs of being analphabetic.

Lie #5: Uno Hu[i] claims that his "phonetically rendered and hyphenated
usage [of Latvian/EH] is correct as given"

Fact: Latvian has a standardized orthography that Uno Hu[i] does not want
to or cannot use.
