As to recolonization -- almost _none_ of them were returned to the
Baltic, except along the Königsberg-Klaipėda road to help secure the
area; colonization plans included the the possible transfer of massive
numbers of Dutch people to the region. Hitler doesn't seem to have
cared very much about the Baltic Germans' fate.
