Croc Hunter Irvin died because of you (excessive criticism)

'Crocodile Hunter' Irwin died because of excessive criticism from
Aussies and others who are too "politically correct" IMO. When I
visited AU recently I found the younger people all try to ape
California (where I'm from) and wishing they were there, even though AU
is actually better than California, from what I've seen. They were not
even using AU lingo, but trying to use CA and American English.

Similarly, the Political Correctness movement criticised the poor Croc
Hunter bloke for being too close to whales and penguins (even though
his publicity helped the environmental movement tremendously), and
holding his baby too close to a croc (even though it's his kid and he
knew crocs better than his critics).

Is it not too much of a stretch of the imagination to say that when he
was handling the sting ray, which ordinarily is not too lethal, that he
held the stinger close to his chest, where his heart lay, and
deliberately pushed the tail in?

Perhaps, we'll never know.
