Good Social programs are needed
These simple benefits make the nation better for everyone. They reduce
crime, help all families equally, create safer streets, reduce depression,
and allow more economic growth for everyone.

Instead of thousands of different social programs designed for different
people, a small number of simple programs which cover everyone;

* Every person receives proper medical care regardless of their income.
* All college is free, including medical school and technical school, as
long as the person can pass the required entrance exam for that school.
* Every unemployed person receives at least $125.00 per week. This is
regardless of whether the person worked in the past, and these payments do
not run out. As a result, people don't have to steal for food. Social
problems like violent crime, homelessness, prostitution and AIDS are very
low. The government actually saves money by doing this (America has none of
these social policies and is now the biggest borrowing nation in the world).
* When a woman is pregnant she immediately receives 2 years paid leave
from work, receiving 90 percent of normal pay.
* High import tariffs protect jobs within the nation. This keeps out
cheap foreign imports made by paying slave labor wages with no benefits or
health care.
* Every person receives at least 6 weeks of paid vacation from work each
year. Unemployed people will receive double the $125.00 per week for 6 weeks
($250.00 per week).
* A mother may take up to 2 months paid leave of absence per year to
care for a sick child, again receiving 90 percent of normal pay.
* The broadcast media is not allowed to air excessively violent
television programs. It also must broadcast programs that show respect for
all cultures equally.
* It is illegal to discriminate against anyone based on race, color,
sexual orientation or gender.
* Newspapers are forbidden to publish headlines which promote religious
or racial unrest. (Example; Headlines that read "Blacks attack whites" or
"Jews harass Christians" are forbidden).

Cooperation is taught to young people, not so much rivalry and
competition. The benefits of cooperation are explained in the book No
Contest by Alfie Kohn.

When a government enact the above social programs into law, such
things as national debt, violent crime, AIDS and other social problems are
reduced dramatically. The above social programs actually save the government
money.

Because America does not have these basic social programs, the federal
government is now in debt $7 trillion ($7,000,000,000,000.00).
Only the Federal Reserve banks are profiting by lending this money to
the government, no one else.

For those who do not understand what the American system is like, 50
million working Americans have no health care. Many more Americans have
little health care. Unemployment payments are only given to people who have
worked in the past. A young person who hasn't worked yet received no
unemployment payments if he has no job. For those who do receive
unemployment payments, those payments only last a few months, then they run
out leaving the citizen with zero income.

Many people in Europe and Scandinavia were astonished to learn this.
Two million Americans are homeless, usually sleeping on the streets with no
food, no health care and zero income. Many of these homeless people are
veterans who fought in wars for America, where they returned home to find no
jobs and no income. What few good jobs are available are now being shipped
overseas by the international corporations who hire cheap, slave labor
overseas in order to gain quick, higher stockholder profits. They use these
higher profits to buy influence in the American media.
