Legalise Heroin in Australia.

I have been a heroin user for approx. 18 months.

I would like to see heroin legalized in Australia. This would cease the huge problem of crime and health in Australia.

Legalization would see a huge decrease in the heroin related crimes, syndicates, and laundering, and also in the spread of diseases and and sickness caused by the expense of heroin.

Under strict control and available for usage within injecting centres, under the watchful eye of staff skilled in the area of heroin addiction and treatment, we could turn this awful lifestyle and financial burden into a profitable movement for the government, a controlled environment for usage and even though people would become addicts, such as we have smoking addicts and alcoholics, it means people would be much less prone to crime, violence, and sickness.
