Full sale of Telstra

If we live in a Democracy, where 79% do not want the full
privatisation of Telstra, how the hell can Howard and his cronies sell
it off, if they are truly representing the people of Australia.

Just a point - why would you sell a company that is making 4 billion
+ a year profit.

If it was a lemon, fair enough.

But Tesltra has a monopoly on the market - running a mobile network
and internet service is similar to printing one's own money, and it
can dominate its opposition with charges.

Look at its opposition - Optus are just a bunch of fools (not worthy
of a comment) and the rest are controlled through line and network
rental

Tell me if I'm wrong - but it doesn't make sense.

And if selling Testra is supposed to reduce call charges, I suggest a
look at the electricity grid as an example of just how wrong the
government can be. Not sure about interstate, but in SA electricty is
incredibly much higher than before ETSA was sold to the Chinese and
its structure privatised.

What a fucking mess!
